A list of Support and Resource Groups in Georgia
There are many resources available in Georgia. I am going to only list a few at this time. A few to get you started along your path to a better, brighter future. I am a member of Focus that has a local chapter that meets near me. It has been so nice to have fellow parents that understand what I am going through. I have made so many wonderful friends through Focus, found my tribe, and you can too. There are so many wonderful organizations, resources, and supports in the state of Georgia. - Focus (Families of Children Under Stress)
The are an organization the offers comfort, hope, fun, and help with equipment.
- Parent To Parent of Georgia
Support and resources for individual and families with special needs.
- Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities
Has weekly virtual calls that you can attend. A wonderful group of people to be a part of.
- The Georgia Advocacy Office
A site to keep up to date on what is happening in the State of Georgia and get the support you may need.

- Parent Mentor Partnership
Give you additional support and resources while your child is in school to prepare for in school and post secondary success.
- The Arc of Georgia
The Arc Georgia works alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to promote and protect the human rights for all and actively support full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
